This HAZMAT Command trailer was manufactured by Mobile Concepts for a publicly traded telecommunications company. It features a fiberglass exterior with an electronic slideout, telescopic LED scene lights and customized graphics.
This trailer also features two electrically-operated awnings, three entry doors and electronic leveling jacks to allow personnel to respond to down towers and restore communications in emergency situations.
The conference room in the HAZMAT Command has seating for four along with all necessary communications and technology to allow communications with the home office.
The 10-foot electronically operated slideout houses three workstations, equipped with 110-volt and 12-volt receptacles, CAT 6 and antenna pre-wire. Each task chair is mounted on an adjustable steel pedestal for employee comfort and security while traveling.
The rear area of this MEDCOM is equipped with a three-high detention-grade steel bunk. Each bunk features a mattress and a reading light, as well as a built-in ladder to access each individual bunk. The area also features a workstation with a chair, work light, antenna capability and outlets.
Mobile Concepts manufactures a variety of HAZMAT-related commands. For example, a major telecommunications company purchased this HAZMAT Incident Response Command Trailer to assist in the rapid restoration of communications for consumers, businesses and public officials in the wake of a disaster – whether man-made or natural.
As part of a Network Disaster Recover (NDR) plan, this trailer aids in re-establishing emergency communications channels from the scene by sharing vital information with other emergency communications vehicles.
