This Freightliner Sprinter 3500 was upfitted by Mobile Concepts for Orange County, New York EMA. This Communication Command features
an aluminum antenna roof rail system that was prewired for 8 antennas. An awning, LED scene lights, and custom graphics complete the exterior.
The rear of the Sprinter provides access to the back of the electronics equipment rack for easy access to the IT staff. The Onan 8kw generator plus all electrical operational equipment are located in this space.
Mobile Concepts installed sound-absorbing wall and ceiling panel in this Sprinter. Florescent and LED lights plus a coffee maker and refrigerator are included in this model.
This Communication Command doubles as a transit van with the installation of the Bostrom ambulance-style seats at each of the three workstations. Each workstation is wired with 110-volt outlets, CAT6 connections and is radio ready.
Mobile Concepts installed a fold-down lap desk and a swivel base for the passenger seat to be used by the Incident Commander. An emergency warning system with lights and sirens plus a back-up camera are installed in the cockpit.

This Freightliner Sprinter includes three Bostrom seats and accompanying work stations, allowing for a total of five occupants to safely travel to the destination.
The passenger seat is a swivel chair with fold down lap desk for the incident commander or communication specialist. The vehicle is pre-wired for emergency radio equipment, as well as eight future antennas. Any of our Freightliner Sprinter models or similar vehicles – such as the Ford Transit, Nissan NV Cargo vans or any model light-truck frame – can be modified to function as a transport vehicle.
