This Freightliner 3500 Sprinter was modified by Mobile Concepts to meet the specifications of the Torrance, California SWAT team for troop transport. The exterior features two high-intensity search lights and a front-bumper mounted push bar.
This SWAT troop transport vehicle, by Mobile Concepts, is configured for deployment of up to 10 tactical troops. A second push bar is mounted to the rear bumper, and doubles as a step for entry and exit by personnel.
The interior features built-in bench seating for SWAT team members, with easy access to either the side or rear doors. The floor is made from commercial grade PVC and a roof-mounted bar allows for troops to secure themselves while the vehicle is in motion.
SWAT or Troop Transport Vehicles can be customized by Mobile Concepts using a Freightliner 2500 or 3500 van.
This model, designed and equipped for the Torrance, California County Police Department, safely transports SWAT team members to incidents requiring additional forces with specialized training, such as standoffs, hostage situations or large protests.
