NVIS Night Vision Imaging System LED lighting was installed in the ceiling and under the overhead cabinets. This system is shown turned on in this image. The vehicle includes two fold-down work station counters and all necessary wiring for up to 4 operators.

The rear cargo space was designed for the convenience of the operators and IT specialists, whom can access the rear of the electronics rack, plus all power management and battery systems. The Onan 8kw diesel generator is located in a custom-built, soundproof enclosure with plumbing direct to the vehicle’s fuel tank.
The New York Police Department NYPD drop shipped us a Freightliner Sprinter cargo van to be upfitted as a Technical Assistance Response Unit (TARU).
Mobile Concepts installed all necessary surveillance and technical equipment needed for on-scene investigations, which include computer forensics and tactical support.
The TARU features two workstations with necessary wiring ports, electronics equipment rack, cameras, emergency lighting and sirens. The rear compartment is outfitted with an 8-kilowatt generator, battery system and custom aluminum shelves for equipment storage.
