The VISN Mobile Command Center, built for the Portland VA Medical Center – Vancouver Campus, features telescoping LED scene lights, an electric awning, a 42-inch TV with a roll-up door and two entry doors.
This command features a total of eight workstations with five of those in the communications room. A 10-foot electronic slideout holds 3 of the workstations. Custom aluminum overhead cabinets with dry erase surfaces , high impact laminate counters and a commercial-grade raised coin floor compliment the interior.
The radio room includes a 24U electronics equipment rack which houses Blu-Ray 500GB, PBX 4-port Phone System, 2nd receiver for DSS, and IC9100 HF radio system. A 32-inch touchscreen monitor with SMART Board software is mounted next to a standard 32-inch LED monitor.
The base of the 3 task chairs in the slideout are fabricated with a steel custom slide mechanism for the swivel chairs.
The galley includes cabinetry, refrigerator, microwave and space for future appliances.
The rear 12 volt electric telescoping mast includes a PTZ night vision camera and a platform for future cameras and antennas. A 10-foot electronic slideout houses 3 workstations.
An aluminum roll up door protects the 42-inch monitor with safety glass from the elements. This monitor is connected to the satellite receiver, loudspeaker system with waterproof speakers and DVR.
This mobile command was designed and manufactured for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 20. The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) covers the states of WA, OR, ID and AK for the VA Healthcare Systems.
This command center supports communications and coordination for the VA and can be deploy at a moment’s notice. All of the necessary electronics, audio/video, communications equipment, radios and cameras are installed for use as a fully functional command.
