The Command-36-FW6WS-Slideout was built by Mobile Concepts to serve as an Incident Command Post (ICP) for Edwards Air Force Base in California.
This ICP serves as an Installation Emergency Operations Control Center for the base’s Emergency Management (EM) Specialists. EM Specialists are responsible for preparing for, responding to and recovering from natural or man-made disasters.
The ICP is used to prepare the base and surrounding communities for emergencies most common to their area: earthquakes, high winds, dust storms and wildfires. In addition to preparedness, the command post can be used during response and recovery missions to establish command and communications.
