This is a 35-foot gelcoat exterior emergency command trailer.
The PTZ night vision camera is mounted to a mast on the rear of the command.
4 telescopic scene lights are mounted on the four corners of the communications command trailer.
The 7 person conference room is accessible from an exterior door and a sliding pocket door near the lavatory and galley area.
This emergency communications command trailer has 3 workstations with a full perimeter wire chase management system.
Ukiah Valley Fire Protection District (FPD) purchased their 35 foot length emergency communications command trailer to reinforce their already strong, effective mutual aid agreements within Mendocino County, California.
The trailer’s communications abilities allow it to act as a mobile back up dispatch center to the county’s emergency command center if needed, as well as a field coordination command during emergencies.
Ukiah Valley FPD, located 2 hours north of San Francisco near the Napa Valley region, is referred to as CAL Fire Battalion 3 through a mutual aid agreement that encompasses the area’s fire and medical services: Ukiah City FD, Ukiah Valley FD, Hopland VFD, Potter Valley VFD, Redwood Valley/Calpella FD, and the U.S.D.A. Forest Service.
Battalion 3 works cooperatively with other public service agencies like California Highway Patrol, Mendocino Co. Sheriff’s Office, Ukiah PD, Ukiah Ambulance Service, Redwood Empire Hazardous Incident Team (REHIT), CalTrans and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Battalion 3 relies heavily on their ability to communicate with and among each of these entities. Their mobile command center supports that mission.
