This 35-foot Incident Command Post was produced by Mobile Concepts for Washington Gas. The vehicle features, two rooftop-mounted heat pumps and is Land-Mobile Satellite ready. It allows the company to establish and maintain contact with various first responders, including local, state and federal agencies, in the event of emergencies.
Included on the exterior of this vehicle are numerous antenna-ready connections, Gelcoat fiberglass walls and a DOT-approved LED lighting system. It also has a slideout area, which allows for increased work area inside the vehicle, and electric leveling jacks.
This area includes four workstations and a 26-inch LCD TV. Each workstation has two 110-volt outlets, one 12-volt outlet, two CAT6 connections and one antenna pre-wire. Custom cabinets with dry erase fronts are located above the workstations to create ample storage.
The Incident Command Post features a seven-person conference room with a pocket door for added privacy. The conference room has its own exterior entrance door. There is a 26-inch LED TV, dry erase board and overhead cabinets with dry erase fronts for added storage.
In the galley, there is a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, custom cabinets and high-impact countertops. The nearby lavatory features a commode with two cartridges, a vanity and a sink.
The Command35-4WS Incident Command Post (ICP) was manufactured by Mobile Concepts for Washington Gas, a utility company in the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia areas.
This ICP establishes a center point of contact for emergency personnel responding to gas leaks, explosion sites or other emergencies. Washington Gas can use the emergency communications trailer to establish direct lines of contact with emergency management agencies, as well as state and local first responders.
