This Emergency Command Center, or Incident Command, was manufactured by Mobile Concepts for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The 35-foot center features two 10-foot slideouts, an electric-powered awning, flush-mounted LED scene lights, two A/C units, two heaters, a city water connection and a 50-amp power service for shore or generator power.
This vehicle includes a Gelcoat fiberglass exterior, access to the interior lavatory, an exterior shower and electric leveling jacks. The exterior of the vehicle is also pre-wired for a Land-Mobile Satellite system, has receptacles, telecommunication outlets and a roof-access ladder.
This 13-person conference room highlights the command center. The conference room has a pocket door for added privacy, a large dry erase board, a 40-inch LCD TV, overhead storage cabinets, a bench seat and wiring for all electronic devices and antennas.
Inside you will find a galley with a mini refrigerator, Keurig beverage machine, microwave, storage and an optional sink. This area is used to help personnel and other first responders during extended periods of time in the field or the center.
The workspace includes four stations, each station has two 110-volt and one 12-volt outlet, two CAT6 hookups, an antenna connection and a task chair. The room also has a 26-inch LCD TV and overhead storage compartments with dry erase surfaces.
This control area features an electrical panel system that includes a combination 120-volt and 12-volt digital amp and volt meters for monitoring power. Internal wiring is easily accessed by using the conveniently located hinged access panel.
This Emergency Command Center, or Incident Command, built by Mobile Concepts, serves as a temporary operations center for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
The command center supports communications and coordination during water- and power-related emergencies. It assists the department in restoring the critical infrastructure and services as quickly as possible.
This temporary command and control unit is ready to deploy at a moment’s notice with all of the electronics, audio/video, communications equipment, radios and cameras necessary for a fully functional command center.
