A Land-Mobile Satellite system for communication and GPS purposes was installed on the roof. The end user delivered the vehicle to our facility near Pittsburgh, Pa., 220 miles from Baltimore.
Mobile Concepts provided tech updates to this Freightliner MT-55 Mobile Command Center, owned by the Baltimore County Emergency Management Agency in Maryland. Numerous features were added to the Baltimore County Mobile Command, most notably, a Wil-Burt pneumatic mast with a PTZ night vision camera.
The exterior was upgraded with new wiring and electronics. Included in the updated electronics was a new exterior DVD player in a weather-proof compartment, located beneath an electronic awning. Included in the tech updates to the vehicle was a new exterior DVD player in a weather-proof compartment.
Baltimore County Maryland Emergency Management was able to upgrade its systems and technologies without having to purchase a new vehicle, reducing time without a vehicle and decreasing the total cost. Many of the communications systems were re-wired to today’s standards, allowing for the latest technologies to be added.
Included in the tech updates to the vehicle was a new exterior DVD player in a weather-proof compartment.
The conference room was updated with new electronics, including monitors, DVD players and a new digital LED clock. All cables and wires were updated by Mobile Concepts.
Baltimore County EMA provided Mobile Concepts with this light tower for installation.
This new electric awning was installed for weather protection.
Baltimore County Maryland Emergency Management (BCMEM) delivered this 2005 MT-55 LDV Mobile Command Center (MCC) to Mobile Concepts Specialty Vehicles factory facility where it was retrofitted.
Mobile Concepts updated all of the wiring and added a new camera mast, satellite system, DVR system, monitors, and an external DVD player. An electric awning was also added. BCMEM was able to reduce downtime and significantly cut spending when compared to purchasing a new command vehicle.
This tech update boosted vehicle performance, improved safety and increased multi-use capabilities among others.
