Command 35-4WS, IRAQ

13 Mobile Command Centers were designed, manufactured and shipped to Iraq, specifically Baghdad’s “Green Zone,” now known as the International Zone. These command trailers were used in conjunction with the Baghdad Police force and U.S. military soldiers to establish a networked security presence in the city.

The mobile commands were stationed throughout the International Zone, which is the central hub of transportation, headquarters to U.S. and British consulting companies, homes and offices of diplomatic and governmental personnel, including those at the US. Embassy Annex.. The command trailers were convoyed into the Port of Umm Qsar.

Upon withdrawal of U.S. military forces, the mobile command centers were turned over to the Iraqi Police Force to help them maintain order by sharing information among the commands using their communication capabilities.
