Introducing EPA Region 9’s New Sprinters!

Yesterday, the Environmental Protection Agency in San Francisco, CA received their two new Command 3WS sprinter vans. They will be used by EPA Region 9’s on-scene coordinators to establish a temporary command post during the early stages of responding to an environmental emergency or disaster. Both units feature three workstations, Starlink Flat High Performance In-Motion kits, an electronics rack, a 43″ TV, rear storage shelving w/cargo netting, an Aluminess roof rack, and a connected ladder on the driver’s side.
Other features include:
- A Fiama 45 electronic awning that is connected to the roof rack
- Four exterior perimeter scene lights
- Two 110vUSB duplex outlets and two CAT6 outlets per workstation
- ACE aluminum cabinets and solid surface countertops
- LED red/white lighting that can be dimmed
- One 13,500 Btu rooftop AC/Heatpump
- Two 1,000w wall heaters
