Mobile Water Purification System
Description
About this unit
Mobile Concepts repurposed an ISO shipping container to house a water purification system for Mitsubishi Electric, designed specifically for a gold-mining operation in Canada’s Yukon Territory.
Given the extreme sub-zero climate, reinforcing and insulating the container was a critical part of the build. To ensure optimal thermal protection, dense closed-cell foam insulation was sprayed throughout the wall cavities, ceiling, and floor, preventing heat loss and maintaining stable internal temperatures. Additionally, due to the heat generated by the purification system, a specialized ventilation system was integrated to facilitate continuous air circulation, preventing overheating while maintaining efficiency.
This customized container ensures year-round functionality in the demanding conditions of the Yukon, providing a reliable water purification solution for the mining operation.
