Make a difference in a child’s life simply by voting! We are proud to announce that our local school district in Mount Pleasant has made it as one of the top 15 finalists in the Dream Big Teacher Challenge sponsored by Farmers Insurance Thank America’s Teachers initiative. This nationwide contest awards up to five $100,000 educational grants for those teachers who dream of making an even bigger impact. Mount Pleasant’s proposed Mobile Technology Incubator would feature two areas- a “think tank” area for brainstorming ideas and a “technology” area with a 3D printer, laser engraver, vinyl cutter, CNC router, and educational space for students to work on laptops.
