Last Wednesday, we sent out two Command-3WS sprinter vans. The first pictured unit was made for the Naval Air Warfare Center in Patuxent River, MD. It will act as a mobile command center and Portable Integrated GPS (PIG) for the Atlantic Test Ranges GPS team. The PIG will enable them to monitor test events with an integrated GPS-based tracking system in real-time from remote locations. As for the second pictured unit, it was made for the Haywood County EMS in Waynesville, NC. They plan to use it as a mobile command center during large-scale medical emergencies. Both sprinter vans feature three workstations, mounted swivel chairs with seatbelts, one passenger seat folding laptop desk, an electronics rack, wiring for eight rooftop antennas, and a siren/PA system.

Other features include:

  • Six (6) exterior parameter scene lights and six (6) emergency lights
  • One (1) 13×9″ electric awning
  • A roof ladder located on the driver’s side
