Mobile Concepts upfitted this Sprinter van as a Transport Communication Command vehicle for Orange County EMA in New York. It’s a dual-purpose unit that functions both as a transport vehicle and an on-site emergency communications command center. This Freightliner Sprinter features three Bostrom seats and accompanying workstations that can accommodate up to five occupants. The passenger seat is a swivel chair equipped with a fold-down lap desk, providing a functional workspace for the incident commander or communication specialist. The vehicle is pre-wired for emergency radio equipment and can support up to eight antennas in the roof rack.

Additionally, any Freightliner Sprinter or similar models- such as the Ford Transit, Nissan NV Cargo vans, or other light truck frames- can be customized to meet specific operational needs as transport or communication vehicles.
