MOBDECON 24-3L
The Department of Veterans Affairs in Tampa, Florida, purchased a 3 lane decontamination cleansing trailer for its James A. Haley Medical Center. The trailer addresses critical response measure set forth by the State Emergency Response Commission for Hazardous materials.
Because the VA hospital may be looked upon for medical assistance during a wide-scale hazmat or natural disaster incident, it is making preparations to accommodate those needs. The mobile mass decontamination trailer is not only for hazmat incidents, but also for disaster response in which patient decontamination is needed.
The 3 lane decontamination trailer we designed and manufactured for Fort Jackson in South Carolina fulfills a need for victim and responder decontamination from hazardous materials. Ease-of-use is a primary design feature.
